When Instagram goes live on AutoReply AI, connecting will take two clicks — if your account is set up right. Here's exactly how to be ready.
Before you start, have these ready
- An Instagram account for your business
- A Facebook Page for your business (free to create)
- An AutoReply AI account — Instagram will be included from the Pro plan
01
Switch Instagram to a professional account
- Open Instagram → your profile → ☰ menu → Settings and privacy.
- Tap Account type and tools → Switch to professional account.
- Choose Business (or Creator), pick your category, done. It's free.
02
Link your Facebook Page
- On your Instagram profile, tap Edit profile.
- Under Public business information, tap Page → connect your Facebook Page (or create one right there).
This link is what lets Meta's API read and reply to your DMs — it's required, not optional.
03
Allow message access
- In Instagram: Settings → Messages and story replies → Message controls.
- Set message requests from everyone to allowed so customer DMs actually arrive.
04
Be first in line
- Create your AutoReply AI account and set up FAQs now — they'll power Instagram instantly.
- Watch the Connect page — the Instagram tile flips from "Coming soon" to "Connect" the day it opens, and we'll announce it in the app.
Common questions
When exactly does Instagram go live?
We're in Meta's review queue. Every customer sees the announcement in-app the day it opens — no separate signup needed.
Will story replies be answered too?
Yes — DMs and story replies both flow into the same AI with the same FAQs.
Do I need a new plan?
Instagram lands in Pro and Business plans automatically at no extra cost.
Ready? It's free to start.
